You have a way to capture your reader'a heart bc I'm always enthralled when I read your threads and metas. Hell, even just headcanons. Not to mention you're so sweet and supportive? i think i've sung your praises too much as it is, but even in the short time you've been with her, your riven feels the closest toβwell, riven. in my personal opinion, she's one of the more complex champions to pen considering the way she'd like to be and atone directly conflict the reality of noxus and neighboring nations. in this sense, riven is still very much at war all while seeking peace, and i think you do a wonderful job showing how that affects her. plus, anyone actively looking (1/2)
could easily tell how dedicated you are to portraying her how you interpret her this way, that much can be said about all of your muses and it’s a very inspiring thing to see. (2/2)

I feel like if you opened yourself up more and stopped being sooooooo private, you could probably get some good mileage out of threads. You close yourself off and that could turn away potential mutuals that otherwise would have been really really good for your character. Just because you're selective doesn't mean you need to wall off everybody that you don't initiate with first.

okay so… i didn’t initially want to answer this, but i have a few problems with it.
and forgive me if this comes off defensive or rude…
but selective and private blogs exist not to put themselves higher than others or to make anyone feel like they can’t interact… choosing to be selective or private is often chosen due to comfort, preference or even anxiety.
tbh, i feel like i am rather approachable… i do not and have not wall(ed) off everyone. i have done starter calls and plotting calls, i toss up plenty of memes and i feel like those are all methods of encouraging people to interact even if i am private and preferential to friends or those i have already plotted with. i am open to people hitting me up. i have posted my discord and i am always willing to even talk to non-mutuals via ask — this is how some non-mutuals have become my mutuals, actually.
my peeve with your ask is that it reads a little entitled to my attention and your writing with me… i appreciate all the followers i have, i do, but i cannot follow every single person and i dang well do not have the ability to write with EVERYONE… i do not feel comfortable if and when my asks exceed a certain point and when my drafts are above 8? i get nervous, anxious and struggle with my muse. i want to put quality before quantity.
i am all for constructive criticisms, seriously, i am… but if you’re going to send an anon like that to someone, which feels like you actually haven’t looked through their blog? please just don’t send it? legit… i have like 3-4 or so active threads, a handful of decent length meta and some in character asks… all that message did was make me wanna just… not be online.
i feel like for the fact that my blog is maybe a week or so old? i’ve made some good progress on fleshing out my portrayal and trying to get something going here… now i’m not exactly feeling that way… so i’m gonna probs delete this post in like .5 seconds and go drown on youtube…
You haven't really done anything on her to really describe her, she feels more like an aesthetic blog... but you seem dedicated to her, so I'm hopeful you'll do well.
